Xmas Tree on porch!?

What happened?! How am I supposed to show off my Xmas tree if it has to be inside a house!?

pretty sure you can put a tree on your porch but you can no longer block the doors like some people did with them. also cant you only place a christmas tree deed around christmas?
in response also put the deed on your roof if you have a tower/keep/castle
or if you have a patio put it outside and let people marvel at your tree .

I am poor, no tower or patio! Only smalls! Oh and no you cannot place on steps anymore.. I tried.

In the past, I think they removed the ability to place them outside of the house...I can't remember if that was in-era... If so, then maybe that is what happened?
