Tinkering

According to T2A wiki, no ingots or wood is lost on failure when creating items. The way it is now, you do loose ingots/wood when you fail. :)

Copied from T2A wiki:
Listed in alphabetical order, by category.

Failure when creating an item will always give "You could not seem to put the item together properly", even when there is no chance of creating the item with the Tinker's skill. It can therefor be difficult to discover at which skill level one is able to create a certain item. No ingots or wood is lost upon failure.

This was corrected in our Patch 76 - Dec 11, 2008.

I've corrected the Wiki.

This change was made based on the 9/16/98 OSI patch:
  • Tinkering now consumes resources on failure.

Sorry for the confusion.
