UO Second Age

Empty, as it has been for many months. Let's be honest - this post is going to attract criticism in the form of personal attacks such as "you're jealous" and/or "$$$ do more for the shard than you kid", just like my previous attack on this dead addon did - but this isn't a personal issue. I'm not "mad" because $$$ have nice things.

I don't like this tent because it is dead. It is empty, it has no soul, no character, it adds nothing. In fact, without the vendors inside, it is, quite frankly, an eyesore. When I look at it I see that it used to be something useful and attractive. I have the benefit of having been on this shard when it was active, so perhaps that reaction is simply because I see the contrast between then and now, but I sincerely doubt newer players look at it and see anything other than an empty tent.

So no, this is not some personal vendetta, and I am not "mad bro lol". I genuinely find this particular addon to be soulless, deceased, washed out and honestly a little bit sad. $$$ no longer make use of it, so why does it linger?

If era accuracy is our thing, we should have era accurate removal of unused addons.

I used to attempt to utilize $$$ vendors due to forum post signature advertisement, only to find it disappointing.

It should be removed, but considering its a town add-on and people paid their 'share of pixels' to obtain it, I don't see it going away anytime soon. Hell there's still that bridge in Shadowmire, plus various duel pits across the shard that are rarely used.

seen other add ons go like [Pee] had a fence near T^B but yet the benches and junk still exist for the T^B area near the duel pit i really feel if the guilds inactive they should lose it all case in point [Pod] lost it all

I would like to point out that historically Hostile take overs of town add ons is a legitimate practice.
I would like to see it hostilely taken over by vagrants in an event form.

I'd say if it stays, then other guilds should have the option of proposing Vendor Tents/Structures in their own towns to be voted on as add-ons.
