Will we have Vet Rewards someday? I dunno what kind of rewards we had back in t2a Tubs and Ore Cloak/Robes? i think vet reward would be very interesting...

Like every 3 or 6 months instead of 1 year like osi and make it only 1 reward per account. what u guys think?

Otherwise Vet rewards become valueless. I've been on a few free shards where vet rewards are in and they are worth about 500gp each.

I don't think we really need Vet rewards, if this was a poll thread, I would vote no

Honestly every one of us has played uo for at least 4 years we should have ethereal horses

personally i think the only vet reward even worthy would be an ethereal, there should be something for veteran players that have earned their stay..

Well we've hardly been open two months, so I don't think vet rewards are really too important at the moment. And the life-span of players playing free shards isn't that long. How many of you really expect to be playing a year from now? Or two or three? The chances aren't very likely.

Besides just by playing the shard, vets will have plenty of things that most people who haven't been around as long don't.

i agree just leave the vet rewards out, or perhaps make new ones like house decorations.

Ethereal is my most favourite reward. I use it so often.

Also 1 reward? So what about those people who will never spend it as they wait to see new things year after year?

Leave the system how it is. Some rewards (like ethereals) are only valueless now because of pet bonding.

F*** rewards. You shouldnt have an advantage over a new player cause you happen to have an old account.

How are the veteran reward items an advantage? Most are decorative in nature.

They are also something EVERYONE works towards so there is no unfair playing field.

ethereals? Quite the unfair advantage of rehorsing instantly after death. A huge advantage imo.

So you're on a horse right after death?... how is that an advantage though. They can mount up faster than others. It doesn't really accomplish much.

They didnt start until around year 5 or 6. Still got several I havent used on osi...ten year rewards. The ethereal mounts are kinda cool. Rest is just eye candy for the home. They had one and two year rewards (so everyone wouldnt feel left out), but they didnt start happening until about 5 years after release.

Perhaps in another four years or so the subject will be valid.

Currently your reward is not having to look at silly neon dayglo weapons and armor and paying upwards of 20 million gold for a house plot.

btw i have one of each ethereal in my custom house just for decoration. They can be locked down on a pedestal or table and look like a nice little unicorn or beetle statue, etc.
Also, most of the popular player shards don't even allow rideable mounts. They want everyone on foot so nobody has an advantage from a mount in pvp.
