Has anyone ever managed to get the Dread Lord title for karma and fame? Just curious

He also managed to get Dread Lord title with a 1x GM and no kills. Impressive.

What is your criteria for "LEGIT"?
Im sure quite a few stat reds would be dread lords if they... well weren't Murderer/statloss/thousands of hours to macro off...
Since there aren't a whole lot of negative karma mobs besides NPCs, Cats, and Dogs, so how do you classify a dread lord as legit or not?

I don't know. I guess anyone who "earned" the title killing others (not their alts) and decided to proudly wear the badge of Dread Lord instead of macroing their way back to blue status, etc... etc...

There's no one who meets that criteria. Most people who get PKed are not "Glorious", and you need to kill a fair amount of Glorious people to get to Dread (few dozen maybe?). Additionally, most people who PK and PvP are not "Lord", because they don't spend time farming high fame monsters, and they do spend time dying here and there.

I had a legit (i.e. not from rezkilling) Dread Lord title for a while on my fencer but didn't care enough to keep it up. I got it last summer when you could get it from killing wandering healers over and over again (which is how Britjsh got it). Funny thing is I got both the Dread and Lord from killing the healers, but reported the issue to Derrick and he fixed their fame/karma.

I regret to inform thee, citizen, that thine accusations are certainly misplaced. For I did not attain my status by killing those who wander the countryside healing wayward souls.
I also regret to inform thee, that the definition of "legit" was given above. Killing "others" most certainly refers to other players, not mindless, soulless wandering healers. Thine dread lord status was the result of a bug, and thus about as far from "legit" as one could be.
Perhaps I do need to restart my reign of terror across this land. The number of disrespectful ingrates has grown strikingly high in my absence.
