Where do these come from and how rare are they?

They dont currently spawn that I am aware of, however there are tons of them out there, they can be anywhere from 30-60k worth in value. Any higher is just pushing the set price.

To answer your question without setting a price, these where the rare result of failing to do a map while working your cartography skill some time ago. This has been patched for 2+ years or so, which means they are no longer craftable. HOWEVER, many people kept their "failures" and there are quite a bit around.

There are 2 hues, both are greyish-blue, however one is darker than the other.

Noone will pay 100k for this map, considering i got my last one for 38.5k there really is no high market price for these. gettin anything with 50k is breaking even unless you paid 75k for this along time ago and want a profit, then you over paid and are losing gold.
