Hello, a couple of questions

hello everybody,

I just started playing a bit on uosecondage

It is soon for my first impressions, actually I am macroing my char.

However there is one thing I can say through reading the topic inside this forum:

it seems to me something is missing in this shard: the guild war.

I mean, big guilds who fight each other.

This leads to my question: have you ever considered to add the Champions to the shard? that's a perfect way to create a guild war and to force/give a reason to the character to play together. It is not even necessary to add Sos and Sop, the reward could even be something already existing in the shard, maybe magic weapons or other.

and more, adding the Champions give more reasons to log in because you fight for a reward, not only for the glory of survive or killing someone.

the Champions is the only important thing I really miss form the shard where I used to play some years ago.

good game 2 everyone

And welcome aboard :)

I really enjoy how Paradise Found is always the go-to shard for an example of everything that makes a UO server shit.

Can you think of a way to argue with that screenshit? <-----(not a typo)

Wait...thats the correct coloring?

The one time I logged into their shard I thought all that black garbage was missing textures or some crap and I left.

And yeah that shard is terrible. To be honest every free shard but this one is terrible.

Yeah, that's a hue called "hey look it's almost black, except for this annoying little neon dot that makes trammel look freaky". There's multiple varieties of the HLIABEFTALNDTMTLF hues.

That's what you get when you give someone GM powers, then they go on an acid trip. Welcome to the OTHER side of UO.

Actually Seth was right with his first guess, that's what the neon hues on many freeshards look like if you don't have the right customised client patch.

So all that messy black stuff should actually be neon?

Wow, it just gets even better :o

I'm not vary PK minded, but a pic like that has me dreaming of us (our whole server) invading that server in mass, with 1999 rules. and bringing home lots of heads with  looks & fancy hats. I can see myself going through the bank crowd like the wedding scene in A Boy & his Dog http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJojuQBuRfY *start at 12 min. in* (hay Maybe that shard has a crowbar I could use) Ya it's a good dream :D

Okay, well, there ARE hues like that that can be selected if you have GM powers. When I saw that color, I just figured it was a GM on an acid trip.

I didn't know that neon colors turned like that, tho. I really don't want to see what it looks like correctly.
