UO Second Age

How many people think UOSA could use a shard wipe/restart? I know everyone would lose all the chars and housing spots and trammel masks and etc, but I think it'd be fun to have a fresh server.. This isn't really a serious suggestion, but hemps post and pics made me think how fun it'd be.

I think it's a really bad idea. I'm just finally rebuilding my estate after losing it all during my last hiatus, def have no interest in starting over again.

And the division between "1337" and noob would re-emerge quickly, as the people who has 30 hours a week to play will obviously get ahead quickly.

I see no benefit for this, if you wanna be a noob again, delete your account.

Nah, as much as I'm in favor of a shard wipe it wouldn't be fair to the old-timers here who have put so much time and effort into making this shard what it is.

However, I do think it would be super sweet to have a Siege Perilous shard brought up along side once the mechanics are perfected (or as close as possible). The downside to that would be the division of the player base, so in short, it's a bad idea.

As a new player who's only been here for about a week I'd be willing to settle for just getting a few stable slots for my characters, the current system is absolutely unacceptable.
