I have never seen them, but I've heard about them and read about them. They are apparently era accurate. But yes, I'd also like to see a screenie if you took one :)

It looks like a maroon magpie, but it beats the sh*t out of you. Has a heat aura (like snow elemental aura) that damages you and disrupts bandages and spells.

I have read about them but would also like to see a screen shot as well.
A PK is but only a pause in the game.

Man, I never took screenies but I fought one with a friend once. Definitely a beast to take down and dropped shitty loot.....

Nah, loot ain't half bad....almost like a WW in terms of strength/difficulty and loot.

Actually, let me go kill one to SS and report on the loot.

Full Report on Phoenix:

It is not a "naturally" aggresive creature, in the sense it will not aggro on you right away. Will do damage when close to you. Looks the same exact shape and size as an eagle, with a reddish/rusty (Efreety) hue.

Did go down MUCH easier than a WW, but did eventually dispel the EV, and cure itself, so decent AI.

Lootwise I got: 787gps and a magic bow...not extraordinary, but not terrible for 1 EV + 1 e-Bolt spent.

I have never seen them drop Phoenix Armor and the respawn rate on a Phoenix is unbelievably slow...so good luck testing it if they do.

*Remembers taking C^V on a hunt for the illusive Phoenix because no one believed him that they existed*

As far as I understand Phoenix Armor no longer spawns and hasn't for some time. Probably why the suits sell for millions of gold or something. :)

In the same passage there used to be an efreet spawn with 2 efreets.
I'm not 100% sure but I think that spawn was in this era, but are not on this server.

Also I'm pretty sure the pheonix should have a tiny chanse of droping pheonix armour, at least they had back when I played in 99.

I always heard people say this, but I was never able to personally verify it. Wonder if this is how it worked on all shards?
