No treasure maps fishing to 97.4

I've read on the forums that I could start expecting to see the odd t-map starting at 90 or so. I've been deep-water fishing up to 97.4, and so far nothing other than fish and footwear (with the occasional serpent thrown in for kicks).

Don't know if it's a bug or not - it's entirely possible that I've just been super-unlucky, I guess.

If it makes any difference, I've been fishing mostly in a 60 x 8 circle. Maybe that's the problem, but my excursions outside of the path have also been fruitless.

UPDATE: finally pulled one tattered map... at 97.8. Guess it's not a bug - I'm just a terrible fisherman.

Fishing can be brutal sometimes. Ive gone about 7-8 hours before with nothing to show but a whole-lota fish and a hand full of those rare fish.(i was at gm fishing too) Then the next day I went another 4 hours with out anything. Then I fish up 7 Mibs in an hour.

"Brutal" is definitely the word for it. But now I'm just too invested to give up.
