I am trying to raise my stealing skill. It is at 82 at the moment, but when I try to steal something that weighs 8 stones, it says it is too heavy. I thought I could steal 7 stones at 70 skill, 8 stones at 80 skill etc...

Is this the case on this shard?

If you are trying to steal a container make sure to include the weight of the container. For best gains I always tried to steal a bag of weight (skill/10) +1. so at 82 I would be able to try on a bag with weight total 9 stones. Maybe this has changed since I did it.

when I click on the bag in my inventory, it says [8 items, 8 stones] But when it is on the packhorse and I try to steal it, I get a message saying it is too heavy
