UO Second Age

Anyone have a best ambush story? Archer bot, dragon turret or just something you've done or have seen that was just plain awesome when it was sprung on you or someone else?

O, yea, def. My favorite was went I hit the tele pad into Wind and suddenly found myself on the pentagram in the tunnel stuck between 4 footstools. I, of course, attempted to pick up a footstool. This resulted in 4 white wyrms coming out of invis and killing my character.

I found that one to be quite awesome.

Can't get much better than that

A guildmate and I once had twin keeps a single tile apart, aligned perfectly along the front.
We had a regular PK rolling through town regularly by the name of Ur'Zah I think it was. Champion runner and recaller as it were, but really good at killing newbie warriors out and about solo.

Long story short, we had him in town again and while others were running laps with him, I placed a series of half a dozen boxes between the rear corners. Single tile path, blocked by boxes (trapped would have been more pro).
Lo, and behold, the murderer made the mistake of running in between the keeps as a means to escape, only to realize his only choice was to fight. With a guildie following up from behind and me in his face, he was dispatched and relieved of his worldly posessions.

Many laughs were had.

Blaise that is a great tale of justice served and I can only imagine the look on that jag's face while he was pounding the keyboard and slamming that poor mouse

For some reason the RPV recorded the potions on top of the tables. But in-game nobody could see a potion, furthermore, potions used to chain-explode.

7 people casting FS + invis item. You don't even come out from hiding as the fs is cast, the person just burns and dies. Best performed by a mob of players with flame scrolls. I'll look for an RPV when I get home

This is by far a most insidious bushwhacking tactic!! I LOVE it!!!
