UO Second Age

So Ive got two mages wrestling each other and my dexxer is healing both of them.


Both mages are around 20 wrestling to start with. Ive only gained about maybe 1.0 in like 2 hours of macroing. Does that sound about right? I thought it would raise much faster once i had them setup with a healer.

Where can I go to get a npc to teach me wrestling?

They changed the gains on using PC toons,get a fighter from jhelom or a paladin and use him.

Don't remember paladin npc...are the noble escort npc paladins?

No, paladins can be found in Delucia, in the "fortress" behind the bank. However, for wrestling in particular, I've heard that hiring a mage from wind (or magincia, etc.) yields better results. If you're going to be working swords or another weapon skill, then paladins are best.

Easy enough.....I remember sparring npc in the pit. Never used paladins, I will give it a try.

I can say paladins worked very well for me GMing wrestling, swords, and tactics. I never tried a mage so I don't know if it yields better results for wrestling or not, but I can say wrestling a paladin makes it pretty easy to GM.

I looked all over magincia and could not find a mage for hire. I found one mage wondering around but she wanted to be escorted to a different town so I dont think this counts like the npcs you can hire in the pits.
