UO Second Age

Lord British Alliance vs Lord Blackthornes Minions pvp event.
(Please note that I am always open to suggestion and ideas on how to run this event for the better)


When: First meeting is on Sunday January 18th at 3PM EST PLEASE try to arrive 15-20 minutes early to avoid delays.


How/Where:
This weekend I will be placing or will be assisted with placing two houses and two stones outside of Britain, and throughout the weekend and the week I will be adding people onto the stones and warring the two stones together (On the day BEFORE the event so that people have a chance to make their characters without griefing, etc)

Two teams of melee's will be on separate stones warring each other and will meet at the brit bank west bank to partake in an epic battle.

- Lord Blackthrones Minions will meet at Lord Blackthrones castle.
- Lord British’s Alliance will meet at Lord British’s Castle.

Rules:
No mounts
No magic (Magic will only do 1 damage in town)
Keep your respective colored robe on and do not change the color.


Why:

For a massive melee battle that everyone can participate in that otherwise wouldn’t take place in the game and to get players new and old to complete against each other on equal ground.

Wow, thanks for your input, no wonder nobody likes you.

If done correctly, it could be sort of a newbie guild too.
Which would in turn promote growth.
There have been at least 10 new people join this week.

This would be an awesome idea if enough people participated

Should make it Blackthorne vs Lord British and use the two castles as "bases"

I'm all for supporting and participating in player run events. So count me in, though I'd like to see the specifics laid out a bit more to avoid having the people and not knowing whats going on.

Get the gms involved as well to set it up a bit and announce and this be some good fun.

I'm in, and I can donate towards the cause if you can come up with a supply list. I have a house in Britain Farms right by the mountain, 2 tiles from guard protection if we need another guildstone host

Just joined the server about a week ago (great job, by the way). Not so hot at 1v1 or anything but PvP like this is always good fun. I'd be down, even to make a new character specifically for this.

Probably need a lot of bandages, weapons, and armor.
Something like a no loot no gank war would be cool.
If someone had a tailor, it might be pretty cool to have newbies collect hides for armor.

Like the sharks and the jets... *snap snap* "ohhh.... ahhhh"

I'd like to do that also...... but I haven't made a melee Character yet.
