Do you get a reg discount for joining the mages guild?

I stumbled across one post saying it didn't reduce the prices but I have read others advising you to join it so you can get reduced reagent prices.

You do get a discount on black pearl and blood moss. Well worth it!

To expand slightly on that^ - The discount you get by joining an NPC guild is a % of the price (20?) rounded down. With the cheaper regs this rounds the discount down to 0. That's why only those mentioned above come out cheaper.

Don't forget that it works for other guilds, also. ( ie. Tailors Guild )
