Bounty board should only show the top 20 bounties

I'm sure I'm not the only one who remembers that bounty boards only showed the top 20 bounties on the shard. It didn't list every single murderer with a bounty.

The reason that the names don't change much is because the board only posts the 20 with the highest bounties.

2 seperate boards, 1 for escorts and 1 for bounties, is also something I don't recall.. seems here like they may have been shared:

I noticed this yesterday. Did you notice that the top 20 bounties are no longer there. Single click the bulletin board and you get *a bounty board with 0 bounties posted* A ton of escorts though.

, Dantrag II and Absolute Zero, came out of nowhere to join the list. This may have been due to the fact that only the top 20 murderers *by bounty* are listed on the in-game bulletin boards. I suspect
that both these gentlemen had low bounties but high murder counts until this week when their bounties increased enough to put them on the boards.

There are bounty boards at most banks. Just double-click it for a list of the top 20 bounties on your shard.

Off topic but relevant to the shard:
You can also be on the bounty board on UOSA with less than 5 short term murders. The only way to do this is to go above 5 short terms, with a bounty, and then macro off counts. It may even be possible to be listed on the bounty board as having "slain 0 people", I haven't seen this happen though. It may be recalculated at server reset. I have seen people with as low as 3 murders listed.

Interesting fact: in the 4 years UOSA has existed, I don't think anyone has broken the 2037 short term murder count record of John MacIntire from Atlantic, at least not unless it's been done in the last few months since I haven't logged in. I've certainly never seen anyone with a 600k+ bounty, either.

Shame this isn't getting the attention it deserves....I mean....at least a reply to acknowledge it's validity and confirm that it will be put on the laundry list......might be nice.

maybe because they had way more player on osi and not everyone was a 7xgm pvp char?
