UO Second Age

Hey sorry for the noob question, I just started playing UO again after being away for 7 years. I'm saving up to buy a house but was wondering, why does everyone say deed + whatever for bids, what's with wanting another deed?

Again, apologies for the ignorance but wanted to make sure I know what I need to save up before I go bidding on a house.

You can sell deeds back to npcs. We don't have checks here so deeds are used as a safer/better way to trade larger amounts of gold.

Are you looking to buy a small? If so, I have a small stone halfway between Trinsic moongate
and the south beach entrance to Trinsic.

I'd let it go for deed + 2k if you are interested.
