UO Second Age

I cant seem to stop my mount from getting fatigued. I stop, dismount "all follow", "all come" feed it and one second later its fatigued again. What gives? Am I doing something wrong?

each apple is only like +4 stamina, which only lasts about 1 minute tops when the horse is already fatigued..

The "all follow me" bug to refresh the mounts stamina doesn't work on here at the moment sadly.
