ICQ was great. Real-time ICQ chat was the devil. My girlfriend being able to see when I was typing and talk in real-time was a terrible hindrance on my gaming.

Does anyone even use ICQ these days?

I remember the passwprd perfectly too, it's just the number I don't recall.

Not that old, but still only 8 digits and I did in fact register specifically for playing UO with my friends on the west coast when I moved back east so many moons ago.

I just attached an email address to it after confirming I remembered my password through the website.
I may install just to hear those typewriter sounds again!!!

Wow funny this thread popped up. I just got the bright idea over the weekend that the ICQ notification sound would make a great text tone so found it and am using it now!

Cant remember my # but it was 6 digits and started with 328 i believe cant remember the rest or the email i used.

I had 7 numbers...

I will hang my head in shame....

I had a 6 digit one that I forgot, then I had an 8 digit one that I still remember everything for.

Loved ICQ. I think I still have the remnants of my ICQ number hanging around in my brain somewhere

just search you name on icq site, is how i got my old icq back after 8 years
