Not complaining but what's the point of a nightmare other then just another mount if you can't farm with it since you can't get on it while it's in combat? Didn't you used to be able to farm with a nighmares and if was dieing or being attacked you could remount?

As long as any pet that you can mount has a combatant on its aggressor list, you cannot mount that pet until the aggressor flag is cleared. This is documented in the demo and the newsgroups.

Tossing an allstop combined with an invisi spell on it may pop it out of combat long enough for you to remount.

Edit: Of course, that makes you the new target, so be quick with an invisi spell/item on yourself right after.
