Apologies for my ignorance, but what is deed + $$? Is it the price of the deed? I'm 8 days new to this shard, so not sure how the commerce system is working but I did try to find somewhere to place a small and I have no idea how one would acquire a deed.

Again, please forgive my noobness. I'd like to get a small house going (my boat is overloaded), but so far I was surprised to find it so difficult to find a spot to place. So I'm looking to buy an existing small somewhere.

You buy the deed from the architect in Britain north of West Brit Bank.
Deed = Small house deed + 10k

There are no cheques here on UOSA, so folks tend to use house deeds for large transactions.

Deed + 10k is the price of a small deed (44k?) + 10k. So you'd hand over a small house deed plus 10,000gp for the placed house.

House deeds are purchased from the architects in any carpenters shop (most towns have one).
