b/c i think clothing bless deeds will be brought back at one point thru some award/point system other than using the event trophies. i would only use trophies to get some unique item or dyed mask

you are sadly mistaken then. this is the only way CBD's will be introduced into the game.. they are not even era-accurate outside of the CUB act

right on, i would like to buy it then. you're not gonna use it in the next few days, are you? it might take me an afternoon to get the gold, but i want it.
i'll still keep my hopes up for possible future opportunities to get one of these (even if not era accurate; i just read that whole thread on the dye tub charges...)
imo, trophies are better spent on dying some mask or black sandals when there is an opportunity to spend gold on buying a CBD.
