UO Second Age

I've been noticing that there are a surprising amount of videos on YouTube that show free shard gameplay. They definitely peeked my interest about what these shards had to offer. I think that T2A should have some videos to show-off how much we have to offer as well! Let's here some suggestions about what should be in such a video:

1) Tournament Events, to which there is always a great turnout.

2) Emphasis on the authenticity of the era theme.

I proposed this to Derrick about a month ago ...

When i joined DFI, it was because I saw this "Faction Wars" video from the server. Showed some pvp at Jhelom Farms couple 3v3 4v4 and a bunch of faction activity. Looked cool so I tried it out. Could get people to make videos and have 1 person put a bunch of the clips together and make a nice video of the shard and what happens here. Link it in the servers signature.

Should have a contest where we can poll on best vid then upload it onto the site, would be creative and fun for people who have the skills outside of UO

I'm excited, hopefully you give us enough time to capture good video and stuff and I really don't have a clue about video editing so I'd need time to learn.

I suppose it won't be about winning so much as getting a few quality entries.

If no one writes one up by tomm evening I will. I would do it right now BUT being at work I do not really have the time to make a lengthy post.

How do you capture UO vids other than using razor and exporting to razor format?

Fraps or other screencasting progs.
