Is it possible to block guards being called in by placing impassable objects? Or do they zap in right on your location?

Next test:

Buy 10 boxes, including the space you are on and then log out. Might need the assistance of a friend (or have a brother/sister from your other accounts login and place the box for you).

Then log back in, then commit a criminal act worthy of the guards retribution

Result = ?? Hilarity?

*TIP: (use camping and a bed roll to enable insta logout wherever you are)

You can just drop the table or w/e you use on the tile you want it to be, then pick it up and hold it, move to the tile and drop the table on your spellbook.

It bouce back to the tile you are on...

Just an idea :)

The very best I have seen anyone do is poison guards while you aren't on screen. It usually involves them on a boat out of guard zone. They can still insta wack you, though.

You mean log out while holding the box in midair I am guessing right hmm, I would have to have an alt cry out guards right as I log out and time it right. I don't think I am that bored though. I think I seen an earlier post where the discussion of a dragged object was the topic in logging out before. I am also guessing it would have to be in an inn. I'd hate to crash the server though, but love to see a guard dancing on boxes.. hmm never got whacked dragging anything before does it just drop as long as it wasnt from within your packl? I think Tables would be a nicer approach for the feng shui though
