Yes, thank you for the concern. The typhoon hit in the southern half of the Philippines. I live in the northern half. Have some family from the area that told me that there is a lot of flooding in the low-lying areas and that several rivers have spilled over. Apparently, an entire military base was wiped away too. The weather has been crazy these last couple of years...

Actually, I have a detachable client that streams to me the updates from IRC the moment I connect. To everyone it looks like I am always on IRC; however, that is not the case. I do it that way so that even though I cannot be on-line every second of the day, I can receive messages regarding UOSA and then address them the moment I get back to my computer.

I meant, you were online on the forums at the time GK posted this.

I rarely check to see if staff is online in forums. Even if he were online, him being alright doesn't just mean himself. It was a broad question that could have meant him/his family/his things. I have been online after leaving home quite a few times. I'm using someone else internet right now.

I would hope that in times of real-life crisis (e.g. Hurricane Katrina, Typhoon Ondoy, etc.) that we could come together as a community instead of pointing fingers at and accusing people of politics. Lets at least air on the side of compassion when dealing with fellow members of the community.
