UO Second Age

We have an opportunity to purchase two pretty cool locations (within a few screens of each other) for the guild. One these locations I have already made a deal to purchase, and we should have it by this weekend. The other location, I am approximately one castle deed short of acquiring assuming the deal mentioned above goes through.

So, I have a couple of questions for you guys:

1. Do you want/need more than one cool/large location for the guild?

2. If the answer is yes, can we collectively come up with a castle deed by this weekend?

What do you guys think?

I can do as much farming as possible all week to contribute, but not sure if that is going to make a dent.

We'll make a run at it and see what happens. There really isn't a time limit on this, rather having that castle deed by this weekend (or earlier) determines the order in which things happen.

Personally I don't think more then a castle deed is needed, But if we wanna go for it I'm down!

Like I said I'll be out of town this weekend on a fraternity retreat but i'll shuttle whatever money I can when I get some.

I'll do what I can to contribute.

BTW... We will keep track of who contributes what, so if for some reason we end up selling whatever property we'll get that money back to those individuals, plus divide whatever profit up proportionately. I don't foresee us selling any of these, but I personally have lost some rares and such through deals like this, and I don't want this to happen to anyone else.

A HUGE piece has fallen into place for us. I will let you know soon how much more we'll need (besides what I have left) to get this deal done this weekend. We're going to be set up pretty damn good for such a new guild.

I just put up 2 million and got us a castle, and I now have 1/3 of what we need for the other property that I have showed some of you guys.

Just did the math... We need 673,400 more gold to make our next real estate purchase, which is arguably more important than the castle.

Note: I have not accounted for any of the donations you guys have pledged here in the forum yet. I think this is very doable.

I won't be able to contribute any gold, but I would suggest that a set portion of the money coming into the guild first goes to repay those who put up money, until they get paid back in full.

We're down to 542,000 now needed for this. Texas Toker has graciously donated 2 small deeds to the cause and I was able to scrounge up another small deed myself.

i can donate that last bit by this weekend.. getting another 500k soon, and will ahve enough to cover that last 542k

Thanks SK. I am hoping that no one guild member (besides me) has to take such a big hit on this financially. We still have time, and I have a few things hopefully falling into place.

I can get a small in but we'll have to do it tonight!

This didn't end up happening unfortunately, but the deal is still on for the location. Still need the to get the money together.
