UO Second Age

Is there anyway to run this server in 3d? I have the option in Razor but i can't figure it out to work.

If you have the "3d" version of the client is should work. This is not the KR client, but a 3d client that came out around the time of UO:R

you can be running mondains legacy 3d client, i have and there are not many problems,.. just a few tile glitches in T2A but nothing too major.

But isn't T2A about the classic 2d we've all come to love and know?

Yes you can, but there are some caveats.

Razor stops working with 3D and I'm not sure at which version.

UOGateway stops being able to decrypt 3D (and 2d) after 5.0.6 I think.

If you want to use a fully patched 3D client (Latest patch is 5.0.9.1c), and i recommend you do for stability, You will need to use a program called "ConnectUO". You've got to fiddle a little bit with it to get it to work in the begining, but once you do, it works just fine.

Derrick's server is in the list there, in fact that's how I connected first to this shard.

Too bad Razor doesn't work with the 3d client.

I was able to find a copy of connectuo and log on using the 3d client. It's looks good. I was the 1st time ever I tried this client.

I may not stick with it but it's a nice feature!
