Taming: Animal lore, veterinary, pet training, nightmares?

I've got many question on taming but for now I wonder about these things:

Animal lore: When reading guides on taming it has been said that this skill will provide accurate info about your pet's skill levels and stats. On this shard, will I be able to see exactly how much my dragon has in wrestling etc?

Veterinary: I understand bonding is no option here, even so, is it possible to resurrect pets with 80 in skill, just like with the healing skill for humans? Or has this only been possible in UO when bonding was introduced.

Pet training: Do pets gain skills at the same speed as players, or do they gain faster?

Nightmares: Is riding nightmares only possible with taming and animal lore? Or can anyone ride them?

animal lore: no, you can't, that was a uor feature.
vet: can not res pets
pet training: don't think anyone knows this for sure. there's no way to test exactly what your pet's skill level is. i think there are options in runUO to have pets gain at faster or slower rates than players, and there's been no confirmation either way.
nightmares: you can ride them with 0 taming but can not control them. there are 2 ways to do this - release and retame (0 retame requirement), or have a tamer friend you to the pet.

Thanks man!

A pity that AL couldn't provide accurate skill levels. I had some hopes that AL would actually be a usefull skill with that feature (in a direct sense that is, not just indirect with taming/controlling pets).

So what info will you do get when using AL? I'm only seeing that "This creature would delight in fruit" etc. Is there not even any equivalent to the anatomy skill's "This person looks superhumanly strong" (some info about the creature's stats that is).

just how happy it is and what it eats. only reason to use it is to check if your pet is wonderfully happy

Someone said you'd need anatomy to view the pet's stats, is this correct? I thought lore was the equivalent for that towards animals.

Anatomy doesn't tell you the exact stats of the animal, it works just like it does on a player. So if it has over 100 strength for example it just shows "superhumanly"

Ah okey, so this is actually true? Then anatomy would be of greater use than animal lore when training a pet to see its progress...

tbh its not that useful. you can only see stats and stats won't change much. it's only really useful for checking the dex of a mount.
