Client Gumps & Artwork Fixes

There's quite a few of the client gumps and artwork that aren't correct. Many of the female gumps are entirely wrong on the client.
One gump example is this:
Left is T2A Client. Right is UOSA Client.

T2A Client: These were the gumps I found on the original Second Age CD.
UOSA Client:

The options screen looks a bit too dated for t2a, if I remember correctly it had the same GUI style as health bar and paperdoll(the marble rock texture)
And it was a different shape too.

These gumps were taken directly from the Second Age installation disc. They are in the exact same place as the currently used gumps are. They were just changed visually.
Edit: The hex numbers of both the T2A disc and the current UOSA install are the same. The old T2A artwork was simply written over.

The T2A houses imo have always looked better than the more recent clients. And that damn virtue header on my character gump has always annoyed me.
For the female gumps however, what am I looking at? aside from the pants they're wearing I see no difference...

These gump differences are mainly the result of client updates pushed over time. The housing changes are, if I'm not mistaken, from around the same time that a foliage update was pushed, changing the look of the trees. Some of the other changes such as the menus were pushed during late T2A. If you can find one, there is a second release version of the T2A CD released around August 1999. That CD should have somewhat updated gumps and artwork.
Of course, there is nothing for us to do regarding this particular issue.

Despite the fact that the above comment totally nullifies the shard's mission statement no?

There's nothing that we can do about this. These are all client side gumps, which is outside of our control.

I think what Guerrilla is trying to say is that the UOSA client that's made available for download could be modified in the package and therefore make the default client for everyone more T2A feeling.

Also, The Stuck-Function is NEA. It Must Be Taken Out.

Reasoning behind it is that people DO get stuck. Very rarely, but it does happen. And when it does, there is no guarantee that the 3-5 GM's we have can be there to help. Therefore this mechanic is in place. It is much more a policy decision rather than a mechanical one as you could argue that GM's are "automating" the unsticking process.
