UO Second Age

Hail, T2A.

I'm a returning UO player from years past, and even have old characters present on the shard including a tank mage and dexxer who are both nearly full GM, yet I find myself a huge scrub once more. My golden years were found on a more obscure shard which had it's own combat system built from the ground up, rendering it sorta simplistic compared to T2A's, so I have a lot to learn.

My question to those veteran PvP'ers; what hotkeys do you use that you could not do without?

Here's 95% of my hotkeys, the setup is geared towards pvp. Very few icons. 2 other pvpers on UOSA actually used my hotkeys before they left. Any hotkey with (razor) next to it indicates that it must be set in razor and not the UO client.

shift+x - say "vendor buy bank guards"
shift+z - say "I ban thee"
alt+` - use once agent trapped pouches (razor)

(big)mouse button(Logitech MX518) - use teleport ring (razor)
(small)mouse button(Logitech MX518) - toggle invisibility jewelry (razor)

delete - detect hidden target self(for house) (razor)
alt+c - click moongate (razor)

Please forgive the n00b question but... with normal letters set as macro keys, how do you speak without activating them?

Don't do 'random' targets, do 'closest' targets and use them near the person you are trying to target.

I too am curious about this. I'm new to this shard and really trying to work my hot keys out to be more minimalistic and fast. This requires most of the hot keys to have no modifier keys (alt, ctrl, shift).

You can set a hotkey to disable and enable your hotkeys AFAIK.

Correct, you can set a key to enable or disable razor hotkeys.

Or you can select 'Pass to UO' in Razor as you create the hot key.

Now understand why i can't defeat people like Halbu in PVP.

He's not hard to beat...especially when hes on a warrior because, as you can see, he has no macro for 'bandage self'...

As had been said, in Razr, set a hot key to activate your macro keys. I use ~. Makes life liveable if you used the left side of the keyboard for casting etc.

To use a macro setup like this would i be setting up all macros through razor and having it "pass them to uo" ?
