Quick question, is mining needed in any way to do treasure hunting?

having mining skill increases the radius away from dig site, thus allowing a greater chance to find the exact location.
however this is really needed with the use of stratics t-map locator and player t-map libaries, which pin points all maps exactly.

so once you go to a rune library, recall, do you just dig right there on the spot? how does it work?

look at your map and try to decide what area of britannia its located in, then goto stratics maparchives
and look to see excactly what number it correspondes to, then goto roadkills rune library on justice isle and recall off
the correct numbered rune (dont forget to check vendors also )


click shovel - map- ground or map - shovel - ground

or something like that

Most rune libraries have the exact spot marked, if not you'll probably be off by one tile, so don't move, just dig around you.
