Anyway, here is a recent thread where someone is buying 10K of each reg for 305K.

If you ask me 305k is a fair price to want to pay. People are just lazy (myself included).

But on the flip side, it would probably take many hours to collect 10k each reagent. in the same time a decent bard can make way more gold albeit with some risk.

You're right, I over-reacted.

An interesting (or not) paradox; the only reason I am even willing/wanting to buy 10K regs all at once is because I can't ever buy 20 - 100 whenever I need to from the NPC vendors.

I hadn't really weighed into the debate one way or the other on the vendor patch and the AFK reg buyers, but it is making it very difficult to play a magic using character unless you're very wealthy and/or have a lot of time to farm, which IMHO in turn makes the game less fun to play. If my main magic using characters weren't already GM'd, I'd be screwed. It is what it is I suppose, and I won't rage quit over it.
