Buffs Bar

Anybody know about this buffs bar? I know its not era accurate, but apparently people are using it?
Is there a way to disable this not era accurate thing if it is enabled?
Just curious.

You can disable it in the options. Does it even work?

Someone was explaining to me that they use it here. If it does work, needs to be disabled, right? If possible.

The buffs bar is a client side feature that, as far as I know, allows you to keep track of the various buffs on your character. I'm not sure if we have any control over that client feature.
