UO Second Age

GAH! I am going through hatchets like they are going out of style. Thankfully a kind soul 'Crystalis' (I hope I got that right) tinkered me up a bunch. I don't remember going through so many tools before. Is it based on my Lumberhacking skill? Am I swinging wrong? It is too cold?

Just wondering why I am breaking them so quickly. Any advice?

weps and armor have a certain hp/durability

its just thne way it is you get a certain amount of chops out of an axe then it breaks.

I'm guessing that you were using npc bought hatchets. GM hatchets will last roughly twice as long. I believe it's 50 and 100 uses but I might be off, forgive me I don't keep count

Hi Fooka, yeah I am assuming it was just because of my skill that I had to use the hatchets twice as long to get the same log count. I just didn't remember going through them so fast back in the day. Orion was a HUGE help, he met me at the Vesper bank and dropped a bag of hatchets on my head!
