New Crafter - Starting Skills?

Ok, I am going to start a crafting character and I am curious on which skills I should pump my starting points into?
I already have miner and a lumberjack for resources so I don't need to worry about those.

I forget which skills are hardest to raise so I would like to put as many points into a couple of the more difficult to start.

Thanks for any tips and hints.

What do you want in your final build? My idea for crafters is to have two:

Mining, Smithing, Tailoring, Tinkering, Carpentry, Magery, Arms Lore

and a 2nd char with:

Alchemy, Poisoning, Inscription, Item ID, Lumberjacking, Magery, Meditation

This excludes Bowcraft/Fletching, but that, to me, is useless. For the first toon I'd go 50 smith 50 mining, magery is tempting but you can macro that afk, you can't afk mining. For the second toon I'd go 50 alch 50 poisoning. You might consider staring with inscription, as well, if it is difficult to raise (i never have trianed it).

Well I would like to make house-addons and such primarily but also maybe GM Smithing.

OK so Carpentry is the primary but which of the others should I put most of my starting points in;
Smithing
Tailoring
Tinkering
Magery
