Trammel Moonstone

Noticed a couple of days ago some spawn contained Trammel moonstones as loot... What's that all about? Are these horrific reminders of days past worth anything and/or serve any purpose?

hehe yea...it was kind of neat to see one but it really did bring back some sad memories...
