I got what I assume to be one of the only two things of value (seeing how all the chests I got were full of poopy), which was the 71k bandaids. That's enough of a win for me.

I tried for over an hour, got either invalid terrain or housing cannot be placed in this area....

WTF there is a house there now...

ANG and other people were camping, we had to wait tlil server restart and the first person on got it i was waiting for 12 hours! hahaha

Actually you are wrong, it was not the first person on who got the spot. That was me , I was one of, if not the first people logged in when the server came back up. That hour of trying was right after server up. Several others there tried as well. And yes we revealed and such. The spot it is sitting in now is the one that kept telling me "housing cannot be created in this area"

Congrats to the person who got it to drop. SEVERAL people gave up trying to get it to place this morning

That sucks man, it takes a long time to be able to place fast+accurately. There'll be many more idocs and chances to come so who cares.
