It's been down for a few days now. According to others this has happened a few times before. Your options appear to be either wait it out or download an IRC client such as mIRC (
http://www.mirc.com/get.html) to use in the interim. I installed mIRC and it was simple to get set up. You can follow the instructions in this thread...

wtf it was working fine till i mentioned it, was working later that day until now... after some time the messages are not updated anymore , you have to scroll down to see new postings... obviously bugged
i tried to restart the webirc client and it doesnt work anymore
would be awesome if this could be fixed
