Constant crashing?

Every time I log in, the game crashes after a few minutes. How can I fix this?
client V5.0.8.3

When you get into the game, <ALT><O> and turn off the music.
This is a problem with some sound cards, especially under Windows Vista

Love this game's music, but having the same problem. Was fixed by turning music off, if anyone has figured/does figure out how to troubleshoot this without going to windows xp or switching sound cards i sure would appeciate knowing how!

do you have to turn of the music only? or all sounds? I mean like footsteps?

Just the music, and only it it's causing crashes. This doesn't happen to everyone.
