Full invulnerable platemail gives like 55 or 56 AR. I am not sure how you could get higher. Does a shield add to AR?

Full suit of invulnerability platemail = 55AR
Protection spell/items = +10 AR
65AR without a shield, with protection spell or items.
A heater shield of invulnerability, with 100 parrying, gives 22+ but you can't get these through normal means anymore

Where do you get an invulnerability anything? Best odds at least? Certain mobs? Tmaps? Dungeon chests?

Not sure what you mean by "normal means", but they certainly spawn out there...they're just a PITA to find.
I believe when Mikel123 dexxed they AW to death he said he had 92 AR with Full Invuln Plate, Invuln heater and Protection jewelry.
The best way to find Invuln Armor pieces is to find a LOT of magic armor. There is no single place that will spawn more or less invuln as opposed to guarding or hardening pieces. In other words you can find a piece of invuln plate in an orc mage as well as in an ancient wyrm. With this in mind, the places that yield the most magic armor are t-maps and mibs. Dungeon chests are also a fair place to find magic armor.

It takes a LONG time to put together a full set of matching (e.g., all plate, all leather, etc.) invulnerability armor, just by hunting. I've accumulated one set of invulnerable plate, that's after killing hundreds of ancient wyrms and probably over 1000 blood elementals, as well as other sources.
You might have better luck buying individual pieces from vendors and cobbling a set together.

I've got an Invul/Fort suit I've been slowly replacing Fort parts on with Invul as I find them...more Inv than Fort at this point by simply buying from vendors [Ive probably got less than 4k into it] when I find the Inv pieces I need...
GM Parry and a Inv Kite currently provides 69ar...no buffs.
