Event Mother's Day or.... ? Green Wyrms

We would like to know if this was an event or?
Hidden Valley we killed the first one I spotted inside H.V. and there was another north of the mountain border, it was very time consuming these things had about 5x the hit points of old school AWs and unlimited mana. When that one went down two more respawned and insta aggro anything in range. Even with a 9 Dragon turret and a provoker they were still quite time consuming. We killed 13 I think.
Can anyone provide any information on what type of event this was, if it was indeed a Mother's Day event.?

EDIT: They werre all called Green Team Guardian and looked like white wyrms but were a light neonish green color.

dont think it was a mothers day thing. if you look inside one of those small houses there are a bunch of levers labeled green wyrm lever and red wyrm lever and there are 2 houses in there labeled green team and red team. no clue what any of that is for either.

Of course the first thing I tried to do is tame, not possible. And honestly it wouldnt be fair to have a tame that has unlimited mana, casts seventh circle and hits like the AW with 5 times the hit points as the old school AW. Would be sliiiigggghhhhttlly overpowered.
The loot.. these mobs seem to have been designed for some kind of event but were not the event in and of themselves they all seemed to have an empty backpack some had gems and an occasional mag weapon. All seemed to have a scroll or two mostly eigth circle. Was almost as if It were WW loot minus the gold + empty backpack.
