i dont think in t2a EQ could or was suppose to hurt you through a large tower.... anyone know?

Yea, it could if you were within range, but in a tower, unlike a small house tere are spots wich are out of range

Same with meteorshower, if youre within range it will hit you.

However, i dont believe EQ will kill you. From what i remeber the damage stops when you have1 hitpoint left.

eq does 50% of your life. so no, it cannot kill you.

I was killed in my house with earthquake yesterday.. I cannot say for sure that's what killed me but I have my door locked and am in a location which is outside range for any AoE spell except EQ.. Not saying its unaccurate, but it might be possible to kill someone with it, a check might be in order.

1. If EQ can hit you, chances are Chain lightining and/or Metorshower will hit as well.

2. What were you macroing, maybe thats what killed you. (IE Poisoning, Magery)

EQ and MS and CL cannot kill me in my large tower but it did

I know what im talking about... Earthquake has like an 8 tile radius, in all directions.. Inside my house where I stand I am safe from all AoE spells, including Explosion Potions, the only spell that would be able to damage me is Earthquake.. I was macroing resist, using Mana Drain, which does no damage, ever. So, by process of elimination, I was killed by either Earthquake, or a Staff member, which is unlikely.. ;\

I just did extensive testing on Earthquake and I can't see any way it could have killed you.

Ok well there are no virtues correct? He couldn't have Sacraficed rez'd himself to get inside, so im stumped as to how I died.. Oh well it's no biggy I was just curious if EQ was lethal material.. ;]

What was the house type?

Unless there have been modifications to the target range check of any AoE spells, I should've been ok.

It was my understanding that eq hit everything on your screen, not 8 tiles. ill check it out.
