Canada is kinda awesome...
I am definitely close enough to Canada geographically that otherworldly people sometimes ask if I am Canadian. It can be be embarrassing at times to be confused as a kind, jolly, polite, environmentally responsible, sensible, beer loving, hockey-playing, Canadian instead of what I am going for... A mean, un-happy, rude, polluting, unreasonable, pot loving, hockey-watching Detroiter. (kinda serious n' kinda joking here)
If you have never been there... Windsor is pretty sweet and so is Toronto.
