Can anyone explain this?

never seen a tourmaline like this one...has anyone else?
pic is kinda hard to see...everyone knows how 'normal' tourmalines are elongated but this one is square like an emerald.
dont remember what I got this off of.

There is also a second version of the star sapphire or another blue one.

Im not sure if its all gems, but for at least a few that one included, there is a second version. These are not rare or prepatch or anything like that. You can find them on NPC's such as nobles, other than that im not sure where else but they do infact spawn.

There are 3 variants that have a somewhat limited spawn.

You can farm them on npc healers etc
