What are the best spots to farm for level 3 and higher treasure maps on the shard?

I think Tmaps are all random. Level 3 maps drop from drakes liches, fire eles, etc.
Level 4s can be obtained from dragons, lich lords, avengers, etc

Level 5s from top tier mobs like Balrons, ancient wyrm, white wyrm, blood ele, poison ele(I think poisons too)

White wyrms are level 4 I think.

Best spot for level 3 Tmaps is Cove three lich or any lich spawn for that matter. But they drop 1s and 3s so be cautious.

Blood ellies and ancient wyrms are Level 5.

Map Level Monsters
1 Earth Elementals, Gargoyles, Gazers, Liches, Mummies, Ophidian Enforcers, Ophidian Warriors, Orc Mages, Sea Serpents, Terathan Warriors and Trolls. Level 1 maps can also be fished up with a skill of 90 fishing or above.
2 Air Elementals, Earth Elementals, Fire Elementals, Snow Elementals, Stone Gargoyles, Water Elementals, and Wyverns.
3 Cyclopean Warriors, Drakes, Dread Spiders, Efreet, Liches, Mummies, Ogre Lords, Ophidian Knight-Errants, Ophidian Shamans, Terathan Avengers.
4 Dragons, Elder Gazers, Lich Lords, Ophidian Matriarchs, Terathan Matriarchs, Ice Fiends, Titans, and White Wyrms.
5 Ancient Wyrms, Balrons, Blood Elementals, Poison Elementals, Titans.

WW's are def not 5's.

I've had good luck getting maps from the Balrons at thera and Blood eles i shame. Hyth deamos are also a great place to farm for maps, but that's hunting for real manly men.

Careful not to misconceive the "potential" level of map drops and the level of the maps that actually drop.
I've recieved plenty of level 1's and level 2 maps from ophidian mats and lich lords.

That said, liinneijj's list seems the most accurate for potential map drops. I would try drakes and liches, depending on what your preferred hunting template is, for level 3 maps. Most areas these creatures inhabit have very quick spawns and or highly populated.

I think the most efficient way to obtain said maps would probably be to buy them from a credited map dealer.

I know different monsters drop different levels of maps, but do all monsters have the same chance of spawning a map?
