UO Second Age

Hello wizards of UOSA. As most of you probably know some of us mYm players are back to play (myself, mark, WoozyRargar, Fwerp) with the hopes of getting Chad, WEEZY and Marmalade etc. back aswell. Anyway, I have decided it would be a good idea to set up a tournament hosted by the mYm crew. This first tournament will be one of many to come here in the future, and the # of tournies in the future will be reflected by how the first few turn out. Donations are not necessarily needed, but are welcome.

Here are some of the details regarding this upcoming tournament:

It will be hosted: Sunday, June 23rd at 7pm EST at the mYm town. You will need to officially show up 5 minutes prior to the tourney starting time in order for us to set up the matchups and organize. We will be using the mYm arena along with MIKE's old tower roof next to the arena. (depending on how many participants show up).

If you are interested. SIGN UP HERE ON THE FORUMS! Otherwise, last minute participants will be allowed to join if they show up no later than 15 minutes prior to the tournament starting.

The rules are pretty simple:
1. All templates are allowed (dexxers, tanks, mages etc.)
2. Only potions allowed are refresh
3. No magic items, GM weps/armor only
4. No magic reflect, RA or protection - it is nothing but annoyance
5. There is no restocking mid-fight so come stocked and ready to fight
6. Duels will be limited to 15minutes each, after 15min it will be sudden death
*me and mark will be reffing this event, any other help would be considered and appreciated.

Prizes will be:
1st place - patio deed
2nd place - small deed
*prizes will vary depending on how many participants. 6-11ppl - (1st -small deed, 2nd- 15k), 11-18 participants (1st - patio, 2nd - small) 18-31 participants (1st - tower deed, 2nd - patio deed) 32+ participants (1st - castle deed, 2nd - tower deed)

I think I remember Matron doing that, wasnt it before deeds were newbied? And did Matron place that same tower in the secluded area by despise? Or is it wrong? With the single troll spawn?

sounds like the tournament had a good turn out! sorry i couldn't make it personally but knew the mYm guild wouldn't let it go to shit. it's been storming like hell here and i had to do some repairs to a buildling at my uncle's farm. the life of a carpenter; always on duty. there will be more to come in the near future. i'll work out a time for the next one.

congrats to Ish on 1st place and Menk on the 2nd place!

also i heard about hax mandoo's attempt to grief the tournament with his WW's only to have them kill themselves locked in the portal. lol.

i wish that was my excuse! haha. but yes, there will be another one soon as soon as i talk with the mYm homeys about a time that would work for the majority of us. i know AshBorn has the tourney coming up on the 1st so perhaps the following weekend will work.
