Truth is, plus 25 vanqs are not as significant as they were prior to the reactive armor patch. They are still useful in large pk groups, but outside that, they're stupid.

After a few test, an individual with 100, 110, and 120 str can and most likely will reflect an average of 17 damage to himself. The max I had reflect on to my character was 25 hp. Defense, truly is, the only offense on this shard now.

Anyways, I want to put an emphasis on my interest on buying charged halberds in it's own thread.

This includes Thunder, Fireball, and Ghouls Touch.

I will also buy two handed swordsmanship weapons of ghouls touch (doesn't have to be a halberd.)

I'm still buying high end halberds.

Holy smokes 25 hp reflect from a level 1 spell. This is why RA should be a no no in duels.

I completely agree. It's silly to have to heal yourself three times after hitting someone 3 times, and not receiving any damage from their end except from their RA.

I think the general population frowns upon casting RA during a duel. Both parties usually agree prior to fighting that RA isn't allowed.

I will only cast RA in a duel if my opponent does it first. It just makes for super long fights, and it is kinda cheesey.
