I need to buy a GM lock box to macro lockpicking. My tinkerer isn't quite there yet. Who can hook me up, and how much?

What comes in a lockpick set? I don't need lockpicks as I have thousands of them.

A lockpicking level set. The one I bought had a 30/30, 50/50 and gm/gm box in it. 3k or something, kinda steep if you just want a gm chest, but since 3k is nothing and you'll only need it once, faster than spending hours looking for a cheap one.

3k for that crap is amazingly stupid. Guess I will buy it though.

lol yeah I sent him an IRC but didn't get a response.. said I'd give him one free, lmao. Would be stupid to pay for something like this.

I should re-state what I just said: it would be stupid to pay anything other than for a 50/50 box: making a new char can be a genuine hassle if all your house slots are filled (however I discovered something during server down today that might have changed my mind on that topic). I guess up to 600 for a 30/30 box is reasonable as well (locked boxes: the one item that makes GM Tinkering less marketable than 50 or 30)

If all your house slots are filled you shouldn't even think 2 seconds about 3k. I literally make more thank 3k gold farming in the amount of time I spent writing these 3 posts here....

Yeah that's what I meant :) I was more willing to pay 3k than to go through that new char hassle. However, I don't make 3k in 5 minutes like you :P

Am I the only person that has just 1 house? lol
I have a tower, completely content with that being my only house for 3 accounts. and I have almost every character slot full with a character that has 5-6x stats, and 2 7xs, so its not like my characters are just junk. I think I have 1 character slot left where I dont mind deleting the mule thats in the spot, but heck man, why do so many people have so many houses that are just empty?

Run 1 round around fire temple and pull everything into one corner by the stairs, drop 3-4 EVs, loot.

Well Menk, when you only have smalls, you kinda divide them up to act as functions for your different chars :D I know, being a Lord and owning a fortress, you might not understand this ;)

Na, kidding. I just bought my first patio last week, yet I have barely stepped foot in it. I like my smalls very much. All 13 of them. I guess, I can say I genuinely -like- 5 or 6 of my smalls, and probably won't sell them until the choice for a housing slot between them and a tower or more is on the horizon. However, the other 8 are placed just because you can re-deed and sell back to vendor at 0% interest, and are in spots I think might sell for +20k-1x deed (or more), and since I don't have much UO plans for this summer, waiting around until fall isn't costing me anything except a 3 minute refresh session every 2 weeks. Even if in the end I get nothing for them except the deed price, 3 minutes every two weeks isn't that important.

That being said, there are huge functional advantages to having only 1 or 2 houses, and being able to co-own instead of friend all your chars to the house.

Haha, well trust me, Im poor and it took all I had to buy that tower. So maybe its just cause Im too broke to buy other houses. I just co own all my characters to the tower. I do get what you mean though, plus its convinent to have a house in different parts of the world so its hard to get stranded. I guess I just get too lazy to try to put stuff in another house. You own a ridiculous amount of smalls though!

Aeris - I got your message on IRC but you had dropped off before I could respond.

Can I meet you tonight sometime to pickup a GM box? I already have a 30/30 and 50/50.
