UO Second Age

Hello

I was just installing the client and connecting and everything seemed to work fine except for this tiny graphical glitch. I would play through it but unfortunately I am unable to see any characters, allthough I can move and occasionally I see doors open here and there. And this UNUSED texture is really annoying.

Does anyone know this bug and is there a fix to it?

I've seen this before, and a reinstall has fixed it.
It's likely due to correcupt client files.
I dunno if this is what caused this, be sure to never end task while patching, if you are patching via UOPATCH.EXE, only cancel when the cancel button is available or if the patcher included in the 5.0.8.3 download let it run even though it seems like it hung up.

Yes you are probably right. I had some problems while trying to patch. It didn't want to patch some files and exited with an error, but running the patch again (and again and again) seemed to fix it. I'm guessing it didn't :p

I tried installing it on my linux pc. It works like a charm. I think I'll try to copy the installed client over to my windows pc and see if that works.
