Really? I have a small on the opposite side of the valley for sale and it went WEEKS with no bids.
Almost right where the right bracket on the THB 131 marker is on the map above. I was only asking d+10k.
And at least then you're close to the entrance to the valley

Thing is, there are scores of open spaces for mining smalls on the shard right now, especially in the jungles. There are at least three open on the mountain right around where yours was. Or at least there were when I checked yesterday. I even know of open spaces where you can do two and three smalls side by side.
So, what characteristic of yours set it apart from the generic mining jungle mining small?
